Good question! We’ve talked about doing an epic Angel marathon together, but periru3 has only seen a few episodes before and I’m only really up on seasons one, two, and five, which I watched when it was airing. (That was around when I was first getting into Buffy.) It might be hard to do limericks with the same kind of character affection/foreshadowing to later plot points/nerdy detail for a show we’re less familiar with!

And Xander does nothing but dis
And Willow’s still trying
To keep him from dying
In the end Angel’s killed with a kiss

AND SCENE
Spike and Buffy make rather strange allies,
“Willow says kick his ass,” Xander lies,
Angel’s soul is restored
Just as Buffy’s sword
Runs him through, and she says, “Close your eyes.”

While we often go through many drafts before we have a limerick we’re happy with, we decided to post a few different versions this time to show how many ways we attempted to do exposition in a five line poem. Personally, I still like the first one best, but periru3 laughs and laughs and laughs every time she hears the word “‘pocalypse” and for some reason felt that was inappropriate to the episode. *hands*
